The craft sale and Memory Tree are part of a fundraiser for the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Memorial Hospice Home.

Celebrate a Life Campaign underway at Northills Mall

The Kamloops Hospice Association is encouraging people to honour the memory of their loved ones this holiday season through the Celebrate a Life Campaign.

“Celebrate a Life is about remembering,” said Executive Director Wendy Marlow. “It started 28 years ago with this beautiful memory tree. It’s really a chance for people to come and write a memory card and celebrate the life that their loved one lived. You can turn a light from white to red, it just signifies that memory for the loved one.”

KAMLOOPS — As people in Kamloops get into the holiday spirit shoppers are encouraged to “Celebrate A Life” on their way through Northills Mall.

The annual event raises money for the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice Home. People are encouraged to donate what they can, then honour loved ones they’ve lost by decorating a memory tree.
