Volunteering at Kamloops Hospice
Our organization could not operate without the dedicated people that volunteer their time, talent and heart. Volunteers provide support in many ways either directly with patients, working at our thrift store or in the everyday operations of the Hospice House.
Hospice volunteers are people from the community who are involved because they care. They are carefully selected and trained, and receive ongoing support, supervision and education. In everything they do, volunteers respect the privacy and need for confidentiality of the patient and his/her family.
Access our “Expression of Interest Volunteer Application” through this link.
Once you have completed the application, please submit by email or in person to Pamela Young, Community Program Coordinator (pamela@kamloopshospice.com)

Flutter Buys Thrift Store Volunteers
The thrift store is an important part of the Kamloops Hospice Association. The store not only provides a great service to the community, it also provides financial support to the operation of the Hospice House.
The volunteers sort and price the items, display the product and assist customers with their purchases. We also need Truck and Muscle support!
