Counselling at Kamloops Hospice
At Hospice we offer professional holistic grief counselling to those in the greater Kamloops community who are experiencing grief & loss due to a death or a life threatening illness.
Grief is a normal, natural response following the death of someone we love. It is important to realize that there is no right or wrong way to grieve. Our grief is dependent on our unique relationship with the person who has died as well as our own personality. It is helpful to have someone to remind you of these things and to walk with you through the wilderness of grief.
Hospice has counsellors on staff who are available to meet with patients and families during their stay with us. Our counsellors also provide bereavement support after the loss of a loved one.
