Administration and Programs Assistant – Part-Time Fridays 8:30 – 4:30

We are looking for a skilled Administration and Programs Assistant to undertake a variety of day-to-day office and clerical tasks. You will be an integral part of ensuring our office operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities – Administration

  • answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls
  • receive and direct visitors and clients
  • maintain electronic and hard copy filing in data base
  • handle requests for information and data
  • schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments and travel arrangements for managers or supervisors
  • preparation of agendas and schedules
  • record, compile, transcribe and distribute minutes of meetings
  • open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence
  • maintain office supply inventories
  • coordinate maintenance of office equipment
  • coordinate and maintain records for programs
  • support accounts receivable

Key Responsibilities – Marketing

  • Responsible for updating social media sites
  • Assist with developing marketing materials
  • Assist with development of advertising campaigns

Required Qualifications

  • Office Administration Certificate or diploma or a combination of relevant experience and education/ training
  • 2 years previous experience in health care setting an asset
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to type 40 wpm
