Kamloops Hospice Association (KHA) is a non profit society, founded in 1981, as a result of a group of compassionate people coming
together to support an individual in the community.
KHA provides trained volunteers and professional staff who support and assist families and their loved ones
who are experiencing a life threatening illness. This support can be varied; providing information, resources
and visitation through the Hospice Visiting Program.
On February 16th 2004 the Kamloops Hospice Association opened the doors of its six bed free standing Hospice Home,
the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Memorial Hospice Home. The Hospice Home provides quality end of life care for residents
of our region as well as respite and pain management.
Referrals are received from the medical community, family, friends, clergy or the patients themselves.
